A couple of recommendations

Since work on the sequel to Murder by the Slice is going slowly, it occurs to me that you might need something else to read while you wait. Allow me (via my reviews/interviews for the Gazette) to recommend a couple of Iowa City-area crime fiction writers.

John Kenyon is the executive director of the Iowa City UNESCO City of Literature organization and a heck of a writer with a number of projects to his credit. Here’s John’s Amazon page.

Erik Therme has written Mortom, a fast-paced puzzler, and I’ve been mightily impressed by his efforts to get the word out about his book. Here’s Erik’s Amazon page.

Meanwhile, I have a new Paul Chambers “slice” (short story) cooking. It should be available fairly soon. The first one, “Shortcuts,” is available now.
